OHIO DEFENSE LEAGUE
It is of the utmost importance that we unite in the mutual defense of both our State and our Nation.
Right now we are being dissolved as of our Sovereignty and unalienable Rights endowed to us of our Creator.
Our oath is as follows;
I, ___________________, do hereby affirm that I will with the guidance and support of Almighty God commit to and pledge my life, honor and property to the defense of my County, State and Nation.
I will with full diligence and all my perseverance defend them against enemies both foreign and domestic.
I do understand this is a volunteer organization, however I do hereby acknowledge and will carry out any and all orders given me of my command so long as such orders are for the safeguard of our Constitution, our County, and our State.
I will contest tyranny and oppression whenever and wherever they present themselves understanding that this is a contest for the enslavement of a free people.
Father help us, guide us and be our provider, I acknowledge that Divine intervention is necessary, show me the Way, the Truth and the Life.
So help me God !

R.U.F.F.'S Goal
It is the goal of Rise Up For Freedom to inform it's members of what is happening with events and news that can or will effect the people of the United States. R.U.F.F. is not a place for people who want to destroy the constitution of the United States. It is for those who wish to see the Constitution of the United States upheld. If you think that America would be better off as a socialist society, then you should seek out that kind of group. R.U.F.F. members are not here to debate socialistic views.

Explanation of the United States Constitution
The Constitution is often hailed as a marvel of brevity and of clarity. It was, however, written in the 18th century, and many of the ideas, concepts, words, phrases, and euphemisms seem odd to us today, if not down right foreign. Some of the more obscure words are defined in The Glossary.
But what of the Constitution itself? What does it mean? What does each article, each section, say?
This page is like a synopsis or summary of the Constitution, article by article, amendment by amendment. This should not be taken as a substitute for the Constitution, but more like a study guide.
The Preamble to the Constitution has no force in law; instead, it establishes the "Why" of the Constitution. Why is this document in existence? It reflects the desires of the Framers to improve on the government they currently had (to be "more perfect" than the Articles of Confederation), to ensure that that government would be just, and would protect its citizens from internal strife and from attack from the outside. It would be of benefit to the people, rather than to its detriment. And, perhaps as importantly, it intended to do the same for the future generations of Americans. Booming preparedness industry says Americans are stockpiling
To some, the term "survivalist" conjures images of camouflage-clad men stockpiling freeze-dried food in a mountain cabin
, but in the current economic crisis, the people quietly preparing to survive catastrophe may just be your next-door neighbors.
In his column in last month's Financial Times, business and technology expert Ade McCormack writes, "The world is in crisis and with it the world of business. Many of us have two plans. Plan A involves President Barack Obama performing some economic magic. Plan B involves a revolver, a vegetable patch and a subscription to Survivalist Monthly."
And while McCormack was writing with a hint of jest, dissent over the president's trillion-dollar spending approach to the economy has left many average, everyday Americans considering something looking suspiciously like plan B.
